-Enviro Board Fiber-Board Panels

Enviro Board panels are solid “concrete-like” fiber panels comprised of highly compressed straw fibers.  These panels offer a superior building product that is easy to handle and assemble.  Through the Enviro Board technology, panels are extruded through the mill in a continuous process, covered with a durable waterproof paper membrane, cut to desired lengths and end-capped.  Panel density and thickness can also be adjusted to accommodate a variety of applications in addition to building construction.

Enviro Board panel replaces conventional and traditional building materials, such as drywall, thermal insulation and exterior plywood.  Due to the panel’s 32” (0.81m) width, 50% fewer studs are required and eliminates unnecessary expenses in the form of materials and labor needed to assemble the materials.

Basic Panel Specifications

  • 2-1/4”  (5.72 cm) thickness
  • 8’ (2.4 m) standard panel length.  Other lengths cut to order..
  • 32” (0.81 m) standard panel width. Wider widths made to order.
  • 3.5 lbs. (1.59 kg) per square foot for 2-1/4” (5.72 cm) thick panel or 18.67 lbs. (8.47 kg) per cubic foot or 75 lbs. (34 kg) for standard panel.

Enviro Board’s rapidly renewable, modular construction panels provide the backbone to any comprehensive building energy plan. At the core of every Enviro Board panel is nature’s most advance building material – cellulosic fiber. Harnessing this fiber’s strength, fire-resistance, thermal insulation and acoustic attenuating properties, along with its complete absence of volatile organic chemicals makes this easy-to-build-with panel system a perfect building solution for any green developer.
